WMU Business Dean to take job in Georgia (Undated) The Dean of Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business is leaving for a similar job at a school in Georgia. David Shields will become the dean of Mercer University's Stetson School of Business and Economics July 1st. Shields has been the dean of Western's Business College since 2006.
